The ideal of education is to produce a wholesome person capable of improving intellect while remaining sensitive to ethical, social, and environmental issues. As quoted by Swami Vivekananda, Education is the manifestation of perfection already in man and it must provide life building, man-making, character-making assimilation of ideas contributing towards nation-building. Knowledge is inherent in every human being like a spark in a piece of flint and all that is needed is a strike of suggestion to bring it out.

A true teacher is one who can come down to the level of students and transfer his soul to the students' soul.IST, established in the year 2005 has grown in leaps and bounds over the past 10 years and has become a center of excellence in engineering education. We have full-fledged laboratories for all the U.G. and P.G. courses we run and have the latest equipment in all of them. Our students are shining in all aspects, be it academics, extracurricular or co-curricular activities. Having taken over as In-charge, Academic Cell in August 2013, I feel proud to be associated with this College and I would like to say a few words...

I want the students and faculty to be people who make things happen and bring up this institution to great heights.

The college has already initiated Professional activities among the students and also encouraging students to go undergo Professional training at companies of repute. The training and placement department conducts grooming sessions to enhance the verbal and written communication skills and preparing students to face the interview during the campus placements.
