This highly popular program trains students in broad areas of Microelectronics, Embedded System / SoC, Communication Engineering/Networking, Digital Signal Processing, Fiber Optics Photonics, Medical Electronics & Micro Processor and Micro Controller. With the continuous advancements and technological innovations, Electronics and Electronic Communication Engineering is under constant flux, finding applications in all human Endeavor. The need of the hour is to keep abreast of the technological advancements happening in the developed countries. Our goal is to provide quality education and up to date information to the students, so that they find place in the fast changing profile of the industry. Besides strong academic input, the students are required to do mini projects and gain hands-on experience with the hardware and the software tools. Visits to industry and expert lectures from academia and industry add another dimension to the teaching learning experience.

Vision Of The Department
The department is giving more stress on the object oriented studies and also practical related trainings. Especially the department had organized the short time industry trainings for the professional growth of the students. Thus the students can get the capability to face any greater industry projects confidently.
Department is always active for the development of the students. Department is providing multiple industry oriented courses like C++, ASP. NET, JSP, J2ee, VB.NET etc. to the students in free of cost.
DIGITAL ELECTRONICS LAB:
Design the basic logic functions using Universal logic gates, Conversion of BCD to Excess-3 &design, Design 4-bit parity generator &compare circuits, Combinational circuit for BCD to decimal conversion to drive 7- segment display, Construct the adder, Subs tractor circuits using universal logic gates, Universal resister using logic gates, JK flip-flops &multiplexer, shift and counter.
BASIC ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING LAB:
Electronic components such as Resistors, Capacitors, Diodes, Transistors familiarization, Electrical devices, Dc power supply, APLAB’s power supply, Multimeter, Micro tech’s trainer kit, V-I characteristics study of a Junction Diode (IN4007),V-I characteristics study of Zener Diode (8V/10V),Half wave and full wave rectifier, Characteristics of Field Effect Transistors, Characteristics of OpAMPs(IC741).
MICROPROCESSOR AND MICRO CONTROLLER LAB:
Addition of 8-bits nos, Addition of two 16bit nos , One’s complement of a number, Two’s complement of number, Addition of ten data bytes, Packed to unpacked BCD nos, Unpacked to packed BCD nos, Move a block of data from one memory location to another memory location, Stepper motor interfacing with 8085 microprocessor, ADC interfacing with 8085 microprocessor,
RF AND MICROWAVE ENGINEERING LAB:
Radiation Pattern of Dipole and Dipole with Parasitic elements, Radiation Pattern of Printed antennas, Radiation Pattern of aperture antennas e.g., Horn antennas, Open-ended Waveguides, Parabolic Reflectors, Study of Smith, Chart single and Double-stub matching.
Familiarization with LASI or equivalent layout &Design rules, Using LASI, draw the layout of a simple CMOS amplifier, Using SPICE, simulate a simple CMOS amplifier and obtain the transfer characteristic and frequency response, Draw a full adder using AND/OR/invert gates in schematic editor, Design layout of a two input CMOS NAND gate using LASI or any equivalent layout tool. Use any standard Design rules, FPGA DESIGNS.
DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING:
Simulation of sampled Sinusoidal signal, various sequence and different arithmetic operations, Simulation of convolution of two sequences using graphical methods and using commands- verification of the pro-parties of z-transform, Simulation of Twiddle factors-verification of the properties.
